With dedication and a keen eye for detail I strive to transform the visuals I work on into a memorable color experience.

My name is Stephan and I'm an Hamburg based colorist. I believe that a balanced grade enhances the cinematography and the authors' narrative. In CLOSE collaboration with cinematographers and directors I translate their creative vision into an color experience that holds emotion.

With my fundamental understanding as a photo lab technician and as a digital filmmaker I can assist the image process and the look development in advance. I show looks and transforms for specific projects and colour-managed workflows. Whether in my own studio or on location, I aim to provide the best technical and visual solution for the film in pre- and post-production.

Since 2016, I work with Resolve.
